Stayed late to help me out nearly an hour after closing. Took the time to learn about me and my needs and we ended up talking about how they can help me solve mac issues at my employer .I was really impressed with the service as well as the effort to really get to know my needs and concerns and how they could help me. I'll be back to buy more Apple stuff from them, they have proven to be trustworthy and knowledgable.Google User

So I was innocently carrying my iPhone totally in a safe and responsible way by pinching it between two fingers by the edge while carrying boxes, a sleeping bag and 5 bags of groceries when all of a sudden it mysteriously jumped from my hand and flung itself at the pavement! It even went out of it's way to point itself perfectly on edge so the right angle of the corner smashed into the cement with full force as if to say see if you can take this beating!I'm not sure if it lost or I did but I was now the proud owner of a totally smashed iPhone 6+, in an unfamiliar town and really did not need the distraction of starting a new job while my phone was selfishly destroying itself. So what did I do. I turned to Yelp of coarse, seeing as I had no idea where anything was, who was reputable or even how to get anywhere. To be honest I did not find my way to Experimac right off, I tried calling another place first only to find out that they were in another city too far away so back to Yelp again. After a quick call to Experimac who was about to close in 30-40 minutes I asked if they could repair my iPhone and they said come on over, so I did come on over and I'm really glad I did,I met three great guys at Experimac who quickly started running my phone through all kinds of tests to ensure everything was working despite the mockingly shattered glass. They documented everything and then rushed it into surgery, while I had to remain in the waiting room (store front) to stay out of the way of the experts who now should have closed up shop and gone home for the night. These guys care about service and saving my phone so they all stay late for triage. I can only assume that the two guys in the back are delicately stitching up the class (nurse, we need Apple juice quick, this ones looking bad and we don't want to loose him! Screw driver, nurse, plug in the USB before it flatlines, clear! Buzz Bzzt beep, beep, beep, we have a start-up icon, it's going to make it). Okay I have a vivid imagination but I love my iPhone and I am clinging desperately to hope that it will survive the surgery.Meanwhile out in the front I realize I'm in this really cool everything-Mac store. But it's not an Apple store and it's not a kiosk with pimple faced nerds who are assigned to sell some Apple stuff next to the major appliances and bulk toilet paper. These guys actually are passionate about Apple products, Macs, iPhone, iPads and accessories except all the Apple gear is a bit older, its all shined up and pretty but these are mostly upgraded, recently owned Apple products. Its kind of like buying a certified pre-owned BMW. They take really good gear that has been vetted by experts, run it through a lot of inspections, upgrade software, drives, RAM and anything else the gear might need. In fact it all looks brand new! They also have a full line of Apple product related accessories, cases, keyboard covers, cords and more. But what is really nice is these guys know the gear, they work on it, they can repair yours or help you upgrade to newer Apple toys, um professional tools and because they care about you and what you need over selling stuff they can help you make the right choice. The employees also have professional backgrounds in industries that rely on Apple products so they don't just know the gear like sales people, rather like life long users who understand what Apple products are all about.Back to my story...My phone comes out of surgery and they start another serious of tests (will it walk again Doc? Will it play the violin? Did it do any of those things before?) to be sure everything was working like it should. And now it's nearly 7:00PM and these guys should have gone home a long time ago but no, they stick around to take care of my iPhone and keep me company in the waiting room like good friends. We did a bit of professional networking while waiting, the owners took the time to get to know me instead of trying to sell me stuff. I learned these guys can do needed work for my employers, take on service and repair projects and they will come to you to keep your Mac's running too. And if you are looking for something special they have resources to find any Apple or Mac device you need at significantly lower prices than brand new. And we all know once you drive a new toy off the lot it's value drops. For me, I think I made some friends, found some great professional partners for our Mac needs at work and met some hard working dedicated people who were willing to stay late and treat me with respect and friendly support, that will bring me back again and again anytime I need Apple or Mac gear. You can't beat good prices but more than that you can't put a price on great service, okay you can put a price on it as I paid that price gladly for my iPhone repairs. Which just happened to be fair and competitive.Yelp User
